The Medicare and Medicaid Electronic Health Records (EHR) Incentive Programs will provide incentive payments to Eligible Professionals as they adopt, implement, upgrade or demonstrate meaningful use of certified EHR technology. These incentive programs are designed to support providers in this period of Health Information Technology transition and instill the use of EHRs in meaningful ways to help our nation to improve the quality, safety and efficiency of patient healthcare.
The audience for this webinar is eligible professionals (EPs). On December 31, 2011, the reporting year ended for EPs who participated in the Medicare EHR Incentive Program in 2011. However, EPs have until February 29, 2012, to register and attest to meeting meaningful use to receive an incentive payment for CY 2011 through the Medicare & Medicaid EHR Incentive Program Registration and Attestation System.
During this webinar, CMS Region 10 subject matter experts will explain how to register, attest and receive payments for the Medicare and Medicaid EHR Incentive Programs. A question and answer session will follow the presentation.
Instructions on how to participate in the webinar and teleconference will be emailed to you the day before the presentation. You will be able to download the slide presentation once you join the webinar.
