Safe Table: Eliminating Hospital Acquired Infections

Washington State Hospital Association Patient Safety Safe Table Learning Collaboratives offer the opportunity for hospitals to work together to address patient safety issues. These protected learning collaboratives provide a place for staff to share best practices, seek advice from peers and learn from national experts in a confidential setting. Safe Table meetings are held both in person and over web conferences.

The Eliminating Hospital Acquired Infections Safe Table addresses best practices to prevent a variety of infections including:

• Central Line
• Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA)
• Ventilator Associated Pneumonia
• Surgical Site Infections
• Urinary Tract Infections
