Safe Table: Eliminating Hospital Acquired Infections

Patient Safety Safe Table Learning Collaboratives offer the opportunity for hospitals to work together to address patient safety issues. These protected learning collaboratives provide a place for staff to share best practices, seek advice from peers and learn from national experts in a confidential setting. Safe Table meetings are held both in person and over web conferences.

The Eliminating Hospital Acquired Infections Safe Table addresses best practices to prevent a variety of infections including:

  • Central Line
  • Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA)
  • Ventilator Associated Pneumonia
  • Surgical Site Infections
  • Urinary Tract Infections
