Webinar - Using Data and Strategy to Succeed in MIPS Year Two: Advice for Solo & Small Group Practices

June 14, 2018

8:00 am–9:00 am Pacific Time
9:00 am–10:00 am Mountain Time

Solo practitioners and small group practices can succeed in the second year of MIPS but can also benefit from advice on how to leverage their limited resources most effectively. This free event from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) will help all understand how to use available data and strategies for enhancing their MIPS scores in each of the four performance areas.

The event will feature a panel of experts that understand MIPS and work regularly with clinicians with few resources to prepare for it. Panelists will offer advice on how to transition from reporting as an individual clinician to reporting as a group and on how to transition from partial reporting in year one to full year reporting in year two. The panel will focus on practical advice for how to achieve MIPS scores needed to avoid a penalty and potentially earn a bonus in year two.

Participants Will Learn

  • How to understand available data including PQRS data and your 2017 MIPS data and reports
  • How to avoid penalties
  • How to successfully transition from individual to group reporting
  • Answers to common questions asked by solo practitioners and small group practices not fully prepared for MIPS
  • Practical tips for addressing frequent challenges encountered by solo practitioners and small group practices
  • How to access free technical assistance resources available right now from CMS or a local area Technical Assistance Organization funded by CMS
