12:30–1:30 pm Pacific Time
1:30–2:30 pm Mountain Time

Improvement Activities under MIPS is a critical performance category that is based on how much your practice participates in activities that improve clinical practice. Choosing the right activities can benefit your patients and practice and help you earn a good MIPS score.

This webinar from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services will focus on understanding how to choose and leverage your improvement activities to enhance your overall performance score. A panel of experts will review the types of improvement activities you should be considering, discuss how improvement activities are scored and offer suggestions for how to leverage your improvement work to enhance your MIPS scores in other areas.

Participants will learn:

  • How to identify improvement activities best suited for your practice
  • How to leverage these activities to enhance your overall performance score
  • How improvement activities are scored and practical tips for how small group practices can leverage their improvement work to earn a high MIPS score overall
  • How to access free technical assistance resources available right now from CMS or a local Direct Support Organization funded by CMS

This event is designed for:

  • MIPS-eligible clinicians from solo and small practices with 15 or fewer clinicians
  • Practice managers and other staff from small group practices
  • Persons supporting small group practices that are preparing for MIPS in 2018
