Board of Directors General Information

Qualis Health Board members are appointed for three year terms. Directors may serve for two consecutive terms for a total of six years. Exemptions from term limits may be approved by a majority vote of the Board from time to time to the extent permitted by the corporation's contractual obligations. The Board is comprised of a minimum of seven and a maximum of 15 persons. Appointments are typically made at the annual meeting in December, although the bylaws permit interim appointments. The percentage of the Board appointed each year varies, although an effort is made to have approximately one-third of terms terminate each year.
