Richard D. Rubin

In his 25-plus years in the healthcare industry, Richard Rubin has served purchasers, providers, consumers, health plans and policy makers. He brings an in-depth understanding of multiple market perspectives, shared health information needs and policy level concerns to his work as CEO of OneHealthPort.

OneHealthPort is a collaborative health information security company. Previously, he was a director for the health division of Siemens Medical Solutions Health Services Corp. and president of the Community Healthcare Connection division for the Pointshare Corp.

Before he assumed his position with Pointshare, Rubin was president/CEO of the Foundation for Health Care Quality and the president of EconoMedrics, Inc. He was elected to the Qualis Health Board of Directors in 2000.

Throughout his career, Rubin has played a leadership role in the health information field. He is a frequent writer and speaker on a variety of healthcare issues, and has testified on healthcare before various governmental agencies. He published the award winning Consumer Health Information Guide, and serves on several private and public boards.
