Robert Djergaian, MD

Robert Djergaian, MD, is pain management medical supervisor and physician director of rehabilitation services at Southwest Washington Medical Center in Vancouver. He has served on the Qualis Health Board of Directors since 1999.

He earned his BS degree from Muhlenberg College in Pennsylvania, and his MD degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. He also completed a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Thomas Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia. Djergaian is licensed to practice medicine in Pennsylvania, California and Washington.

He is board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation, and a diplomate of the American Board of Pain Medicine. Djergaian was elected to the Qualis Health Board of Directors in 1999.

A frequent public speaker on pain and rehabilitation issues, he is a member of the American Medical Association, American Spinal Injury Association, American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and numerous other professional societies.

Djergaian’s community affiliations have included the Oregon Head Injury Foundation advisory board, Board of Directors of the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Santa Barbara, and the Santa Barbara Therapeutic Riding Academy.
