Seattle – Qualis Health announced today that it has been awarded a contract by Washington Counties Insurance Fund (WCIF) to provide utilization management, case management, and specialty review services to the 4,050 enrollees in WCIF’s Washington Counties Insurance Pool plan. WCIF, based in Tumwater, Wash., offers medical, dental, vision, and life insurance benefits to counties and special purpose districts throughout Washington.
Qualis Health’s president and chief executive officer, Jonathan R. Sugarman, MD, MPH, was pleased with the contract award. “We believe that Washington Counties Insurance Fund will find our services valuable in managing healthcare costs, improving clinical outcomes, and delivering continued value to its employees. Qualis Health, which is accredited by URAC in health utilization management, case management, and independent review, has provided comprehensive care management services for more than 30 years to clients such as employers, health plans, trusts, third party administrators, workers’ compensation organizations, and government agencies.
