The Alaska Medicaid - Health Care Services program is the primary public program for financing basic health and long-term care services for low-income Alaskans. It is funded equally by federal and state general funds. The program focuses on coverage for low-income:

  • The permanently disabled

Qualis Health’s Role - Case Management

Qualis Health’s case managers are licensed nurses or mental health professionals with extensive training and experience.

Case management is free, optional support for individuals with a catastrophic injury or illness, or a chronic medical condition.

Qualis Health case managers can:

  • Identify healthcare concerns
  • Gather information to help you make the best healthcare choices possible, within your benefits plan
  • Serve as a resource for your healthcare team and family
  • Coordinate referrals
  • Assist in obtaining healthcare services to promote the best outcomes
