The Alaska Medicaid - Health Care Services program is the primary public program for financing basic health and long-term care services for low-income Alaskans. It is funded equally by federal and state general funds. The program focuses on coverage for low-income:

  • The permanently disabled

During the current COVID-19 emergency, Comagine Health is fully staffed and business operations are not interrupted.

For utilization review, case management and related activities, we are continuing to process requests and answer calls via our toll-free numbers during standard business hours. We have business continuity plans in place to serve our clients, health care providers, patients and communities while also protecting our staff and minimizing the spread of the illness.


Comagine Health's Role - Utilization Management

We are contracted by Alaska Medicaid - Health Care Services to improve health and control costs. Qualified Alaskan healthcare professionals work to see that the right people get the right services at the right time.

Comagine Health's Role - Case Management

Comagine Health's case managers are licensed nurses or mental health professionals with extensive training and experience.

Case management is free, optional support for individuals with a catastrophic injury or illness, or a chronic medical condition.

Comagine Health case managers can:

  • Identify healthcare concerns
  • Gather information to help you make the best healthcare choices possible, within your benefits plan
  • Serve as a resource for your healthcare team and family
  • Coordinate referrals
  • Assist in obtaining healthcare services to promote the best outcomes
