Each year, Qualis Health recognizes select Idaho organizations with an Award of Excellence in Healthcare Quality. To be considered for an award based on work performed during 2007, organizations were to submit a nomination form by December 14, 2007. 

Award winners were selected by a committee that included representatives of Idaho healthcare professional and trade associations.  Based on nominations received, a winner was selected in each of the following categories:

• Patient Safety
• Large/urban hospitals
• Rural/critical access hospitals
• Nursing homes
• Home health agencies
• Physician offices/clinics

Awards will be presented on Monday, March 3, 2008, during a luncheon at the Annual Patient Safety and Quality Improvement Conference in Boise. An announcement of the award winners will be distributed via state professional and trade associations and local news media.
