Medicare-Funded Projects

As part of our Quality Improvement Organization (QIO) contract with Medicare, Qualis Health helps Idaho and Washington healthcare organizations to make measurable improvements in healthcare quality.

Qualis Health is engaging healthcare providers, patients and families of Whatcom County, Washington in a three-year initiative that aims to improve healthcare transitions for patients. "Stepping Stones: Bridging Healthcare Gaps" is one of only fourteen such community projects across the U.S.

Medical Home Initiatives

In an effort to improve health outcomes and patient experience, Qualis Health has partnered with The Commonwealth Fund and the MacColl Institute for Healthcare Innovation to run the Safety Net Medical Home Initiative, a five-year project dedicated to transforming primary care safety net clinics into high-performing Patient-Centered Medical Homes.

Special Studies

Qualis Health participates in a number of special studies focused on improving the quality of healthcare and health outcomes. For example, learn more about our work with the Health Information Security and Privacy Collaboration (HISPC), the Washington State Collaborative, and other successful project using the Collaborative framework.

Award Program

Each year, Qualis Health recognizes outstanding Idaho and Washington healthcare organizations by presenting them with our Award of Excellence in Healthcare Quality. Winners have demonstrated leadership and innovation in improving healthcare practices.
