Our Team


Evan Stults - Vice President, Communications
As Vice President of Communications, Mr. Stults leads communications strategies for initiatives dedicated to improving healthcare quality and safety.

He has worked in healthcare communications and program development for over 25 years, including directing the national communications resource center for the Medicare Quality Improvement Organization (QIO) Program from 2002 through 2008.


Bre Holt, MPH - Practice Transformation Director
Bre Holt has over a decade of experience in public health program management, project coordination, grant management and program development.

Before working on the Hub project, she provided program management support on a national practice transformation program and coordinated our partnerships with the MacColl Center for Health Care Innovation and the Advancing Integrated Mental Health Solutions (AIMS) Center in developing the Behavioral Health Integration Implementation Guide.


Rick Helms, MSW - Hub Operations Manager
Rick Helms’ diverse background in healthcare administration includes 10 years of experience managing academic, nonprofit and managed care operations.

His most recent position was with the University of Nebraska Medical Center where he led operations for integrating academic practitioners into community settings.


Practice Coaches/Regional Connectors

Carolyn Brill, CPHIMS, CHP

Carolyn Brill has extensive practice facilitation and healthcare information technology experience. She has done builds for both Epic and Allscripts, is certified in Allscripts Enterprise, and has worked with many other EHR vendors. Previously she worked as a consultant supporting practices on meaningful use and clinical measure improvement. Carolyn resides in Snohomish, WA.


Gwen Cox, RN

Gwen Cox has an extensive background in quality improvement, serving as the Director of Nursing Quality and Risk Management at Klickitat Valley Health in Goldendale, WA, for the last four years. She has also spent multiple years in Quality Director roles in other states, including Hawaii and Tennessee, and now makes her home in Moses Lake.


Wei-Lin Huang, MSW, LICSW

An experienced social worker, Wei-Lin Huang has served in both inpatient and outpatient settings. One of her most recent roles was as a behavioral health specialist in an integrated primary care clinic. Wei-Lin’s process improvement experience includes assisting practices with work flows and team-based care.


Maria Klemesrud, MEd, LMHC

A licensed mental health counselor for more than 20 years, Maria Klemesrud has worked in higher education, housing reform and child mental health services. Prior to her position for the Hub, she worked as a behavioral health provider in an integrated care model in Kitsap County. Maria lives in Poulsbo.


Sharon Poch, MSW

Sharon Poch has over 25 years of experience in behavioral health, including direct service, quality improvement, contract compliance, program development and project management. In 2015, she joined our External Quality Review team as a Clinical Quality Specialist, in which she worked to improve delivery of healthcare services through audits of the state’s network of Behavioral Health Organizations.


David Stipe, RRT

David Stipe began his 30-year plus healthcare career as a registered respiratory therapist. David is an expert with implementations and workflow, and is proficient in several EHR systems including Epic, Greenway Medical and Cerner. Additionally, he has deep experience with provider and clinical staff coaching and support with meaningful use, EHR improvements related to workflow and process change, optimization, and reporting. David lives in Ocean Shores.
