The District of Columbia, Department of Health Care Finance (DC Medicaid) provides healthcare services to low-income residents of the District. It is funded equally by federal and state general funds. The program focuses on coverage for eligible:

  • Senior citizens
  • Disabled individuals
  • Children
  • Pregnant women
  • Parents
