Do you struggle with managing your diabetes? If so, the Diabetes Self-Management Program can help!

The Diabetes Self-Management Program (DSMP) is free and open to individuals living with diabetes or pre-diabetes. It consists of six workshops where you’ll learn about:

  • Monitoring blood sugar
  • Preventing low blood sugar
  • Nutrition and healthy eating plan
  • Preventing and delaying complications
  • Dealing with depression and stress
  • Foot care


We encourage you to attend with a spouse, companion or caregiver.

This DSMP series meets every Wednesday, May 23–June 27, for six weeks:

About the Diabetes Self-Management Program

The Diabetes Self-Management Program was developed by Stanford University and consists of six workshop sessions of 2.5 hours each. Each workshop focuses on problem solving, decision making, and other self-management skills that help participants face the challenges of living with diabetes.

As part of the national program “Everyone with Diabetes Counts,” Qualis Health works with local organizations to offer the DSMP in Idaho and Washington.
