This year's conference will focus on effective coordination to enhance patient care quality and safety when transferring from one setting of care to another. A variety of care transitions topics will be presented, including a full day of training on April 6, 2012.
Award of Excellence in Healthcare Quality
We will present the Qualis Health Award of Excellence in Healthcare Quality at the Patient Safety and Quality Improvement Conference. This award recognizes organizations, institutions and practitioners in Idaho who have demonstrated outcomes related to the three broad aims outlined in the 2011 National Quality Strategy:
- Better healthcare (for individuals)
- Better health (for populations)
- Reduced costs through improvement
