New leadership team poised to position industry leader for future success
SALT LAKE CITY — Comagine Health, a leading national nonprofit health care consulting firm, named three new senior vice presidents to its senior executive team. Following the recent merger between Qualis Health and HealthInsight, Marc Bennett, Comagine Health’s president and chief executive officer, recognized that a broader range of diverse expertise is needed at the executive level to achieve the organization’s mission and vision. This move supports Comagine Health’s commitment to enhance its service line offerings and deliver a heightened level of expertise to its clients.
“Comagine Health is committed to reimagining health care, together,” Bennett said. “In order to do this, we need the proficiency of visionary leaders. Our new senior vice presidents offer valuable perspectives, strategic leadership and many years of experience that will amplify our success. This combined with their in-depth knowledge of the health care industry will enhance our ability to transform the health care system.”
The new senior vice presidents are:
Marie Dunn, M.S., Senior Vice President for Research and Innovation — Ms. Dunn has been responsible for strategic and operational leadership of quality improvement programs as vice president of quality and safety initiatives. As chief medical officer for the Washington State Health Care Authority, he led successful statewide efforts to reduce unnecessary emergency room visits, address the opioid public health crisis and create innovative value-based purchasing strategies. He brings extensive experience in health care policy and transformation to this role. In this position, Dr. Lessler will partner with Medicare and Medicaid agencies across the country to identify strategies and implement innovations to improve the quality and reduce the cost of care for complex patient populations.
Juliana Preston, M.P.A., Senior Vice President for System-Wide Quality Improvement — A skilled leader with more than 20 years of experience, Ms. Preston has been serving as the executive director of HealthInsight Utah and secretary of the Utah community board.
