Qualis Health signs multi-year contract to provide utilization management of inpatient hospital services
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Qualis Health has signed a contract renewal with the Alabama Medicaid Agency (the Agency) to conduct retrospective hospital inpatient quality reviews, review hospital internal utilization review plans and medical care evaluation studies, and review provider preventable conditions for the approximately 122 facilities in the state’s hospital network. The Agency administers a comprehensive array of health care services and programs in order to provide ready access and high-quality care for more than 1,000,000 Medicaid recipients.
