Qualis Health Announces Contract with District of Columbia, Department of Health Care Finance

Qualis Health signs multi-year contract to provide utilization reviews and quality improvement activities to Medicaid participants

Qualis Health has signed a multi-year contract to provide utilization reviews and quality improvement activities for approximately 67,000 of the District's Fee-for-Service Medicaid Program participants. The District's Department of Health Care Finance provides healthcare for more than 200,000 eligible elderly and disabled individuals and eligible low-income pregnant women, children and parents.

"We look forward to working with Qualis Health, who will provide utilization and quality management services for our Medicaid Fee-for-Service beneficiaries," said Wayne Turnage, Director of the District of Columbia Department of Health Care Finance. "This partnership supports the Department's mission to improve health outcomes by ensuring access to comprehensive, cost-effective and quality healthcare services to District residents."
