Qualis Health Announces Contract with the Alabama Medicaid Agency

Seattle, WA – Qualis Health has signed a three-year contract to provide medical and quality review services to the Alabama Medicaid Agency (AMA). The AMA program provides healthcare for more than one million Alabama Medicaid enrollees.
"Alabama requires a system that supports our main objective—to provide healthcare services for our recipients," said Alabama Medicaid Commissioner R. Bob Mullins, Jr., MD. "The work to be performed under this contract will play an important role in our efforts to meet recipients' needs while managing our budget, improving quality and preventing fraud and abuse."
