Qualis Health's health IT consulting division, Outlook Associates, will provide technical assistance services to aid in the implementation and certification of Alaska's new Medicaid Management Information System.
Seattle - Qualis Health announced today that it has been awarded a contract by Alaska’s Department of Health and Social Services (DHSS) to provide technical assistance services related to the implementation and certification of the state’s new Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS). These services will be provided by Outlook Associates, Qualis Health’s health information technology consulting division.
Outlook Associates’ staff will assist the state in monitoring and evaluating the design, development, testing, and implementation phases for the state’s MMIS replacement project. The contract also includes quality assurance services, independent verification and validation, operational and user acceptance testing support for this large systems replacement project. Outlook Associates will provide DHSS with this assistance based on its expertise in the private sector as well as multi-state Medicaid experience.
