Qualis Health Presents the Alaska 2015 Annual Behavioral Health Provider Education Conference

Behavioral health conference builds a culture of collaboration to enhance care for Alaskans, May 4 through 6

Anchorage, AK – Qualis Health, a national leader in improving care delivery and patient outcomes, is presenting the Alaska 2015 Annual Behavioral Health Provider Education Conference, "Collaboration and Enhancement of Care for Alaskans," in partnership with the State of Alaska Department of Health and Social Services on May 4 through 6 at the BP Energy Center in Anchorage, Alaska.

The conference draws a diverse group of healthcare providers from across the country who serve Alaska's behavioral health Medicaid beneficiaries. The professionals attending the conference will learn about behavioral health resources in Alaska, care coordination and discharge planning, and strategies to serve Alaska's diverse cultures. The Cultural Day event on May 6 will feature a presentation by the Fireweed Dancers.

"Through this collaboration we strive to improve access to appropriate, quality behavioral health services for Alaska's youth and their families."

The conference is facilitated by the staff of Qualis Health's Anchorage office, local healthcare professionals who provide care coordination and care review for the Alaska Department of Health and Social Services Division of Behavioral Health.
